Claudine Verheggen

I am Professor of Philosophy at York University in Toronto. My research and teaching interests are in the philosophy of language and in related issues in philosophy of mind, metaphysics, and epistemology. These include normativity, objectivity, truth, non-reductionism, and philosophical scepticism. I also have a special interest in Wittgenstein and Davidson.

I co-authored with Robert Myers Donald Davidson's Triangulation Argument: A Philosophical Inquiry (Routledge, 2016) and I edited Wittgenstein and Davidson on Language, Thought, and Action (Cambridge University Press, 2017). More recently, I edited a special issue of the Journal for the History of Analytical Philosophy in celebration of the hundredth anniversary of Donald Davidson’s birth. More details about my published work can be found here.
